This event was planned around a purple, black and white color scheme so we introduced varying shades and tones of purple to the bouquet which made for an effective pairing with the bouts worn by the men. Note the purple fabric details in the background along the head table. This event was at the Atlantic Ballroom of the Westin Hotel, Halifax.

The architectural elements of the room were accented with purple uplighting. In order for the head table to have impact against this, we went for a heavily laden table with candles in various vessels. This added interest to the table as well as did a great job of illuminating the gals and guys seated there.

The cake detailing included a fine band of rhinestone and therefore the rhinestone handles on the cake knife and server were a natural fit. Note the reflection of the purple uplighting as seen on the serving utensils - makes for an interesting photo.

Always important when deciding on bout elements is to ensure that it has elements common to the bouquets. This is an example of that philosophy as you will see when looking later at the bride's bouquet.

Note the wonderful range of vibrant colors and how the green flowers enhanced the color combinations.
